Stand Alone Torch Height Control Unit
Designed for Conventional Air Plasma Cutting Systems
The Sensor PHC is a stand alone torch height control unit designed for use with conventional air plasma cutting systems such as the Powermax range and the new oxygen plasma cutting system, the HSD 130.
Using contact and stall force to set the initial pierce height and arc voltage to keep the torch at a constant cutting height it has all the features of the height controls used with high performance systems (including an anti collision device to protect the torch) but at a much lower cost.
The torch height control unit can be supplied as a package with any of the G3 series Powermax systems, as part of a new CNC plasma cutting table or to upgrade an existing cutting table.
- 6" motion range at up to 200 ipm maximum slew rate
- Timed initial height sensing
- Arc voltage sensing is 50-210 volt at 1 volt steps for accuracy
- Easy to use operational controls with fault indicators
- Torch protected from plate collisions by built in magnetic torch mount breakaway
- Complete with a controller, lifter and all interconnect cables
