The internally developed automatic calibration system ACTG for cutting tool geometry aims to eliminate mechanical errors in the cutting head settings, thereby improving the accuracy of bevel cutting by the rotator and 3D tilting head. Compensation is based on superimposing the appropriate corrective motion on the X, Y, and Z motion axes.

Identify the inaccuracy of the bevel head by using the fully automatic calibration procedure of the machine calibration station. The calibration station is an independent device installed in the machine’s range of motion. The station has three measuring axes. The automatic calibration system is generally suitable for calibrating all the instruments equipped on the cutting machine. In addition to the calibration of the rotator and the 3D head, it can also be used to detect the offset between the drilling tool and the plasma head and to calibrate the length of the drilling tool. It can also be used to calibrate ABP (Additional Bevel Processing) scanners.
